Report: Ship with Russian fertilizers arrested in Finland
HELSINKI, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- A ship with fertilizers, part of which were presumably connected with a Russian under E.U. sanctions, was arrested in Finland's port of Hamina-Kotka, TV and radio broadcaster YLE reported on Wednesday.
"Ship Smew is anchored outside the port. This is the first case when cargo was arrested in this port due to E.U. sanctions," CEO of Hamina-Kotka's port Kimmo Naski said as cited by the media.
Finland’s Foreign Ministry is considering an extraordinary permission to export the cargo.
YLE put the market price of the fertilizers at 10–12 million euros.
